Reverse Prospecting is a report in InnoVia that a Listing Agent can run to find prospective buyers for a listing in their inventory.
When initiated, this report will return a list of any instances in which an agent's listings were found as a match through InnoVia's regular prospecting feature. It will show the agent's contact information who owns the prospect, the prospect's ID number (not their name or contact information), and the date that the email notification of the match was sent to another agent or prospect.
In order for a prospect to show in this report, the agent who input the prospect has to "Enable Reverse Prospecting" for that prospect. Refer to Setting up a Prospect for instructions on enabling Reverse Prospecting for your prospects.
**Note: Enabling a prospect for Reverse Prospecting does not disclose any of their contact information and only increases the chance of finding a listing to meet their needs.
To run a Reverse Prospecting Report:
Click on the Reports tab on the InnoVia Menu Bar, and click on Reverse Prospecting
If searching for matches for a specific listing, enter the MLS number. Otherwise, choose the Property Type and the Match Date. This is the date that any email notifications were sent to other agents or prospects for any of your listings.

Click Search
The resulting report will show the MLS number for your listing, the name of the agent who received the notification with contact information, the prospect's ID number, and the date the email was sent.
You can also run this report from the My InnoVia home page. Simply click on the Reverse button located on the left side of the screen in the "Prospect Email" section. This will show any matches for your listings that occurred the previous night. To search further back than the previous night, use the Reverse Prospecting report explained above.
